Inspired by the “frame/border” prompt, I crafted a layered design full of hand-built dimensional flowers, shimmering die-cut leaves, and a shaped border to frame the sentiment. A celebration of colour, sparkle, and all things floral!

With layers of icy blues, snowy sparkle, and a dazzling snowflake as the star of the show, it’s a frosty little celebration in card form. Warm wood tones, a simple DIY shaker frame, and a sprinkle of holiday sparkle I loved mixing rustic textures with elegant poinsettias and glittery details for this festive card. A little shimmer goes a long way! #shakercard #handmadechristmascard #papercraftlove

 This card came together with a warm, rustic-meets-elegant feel. I started with a wood-themed background for a cosy, natural base, then built a simple but effective DIY shaker frame filled with shiny sequins for movement and sparkle. I embellished it with elegant poinsettias, layered details, and just the right amount of glitter and shine to add a festive glow without overwhelming the design. It’s a lovely mix of rustic charm and holiday glamour—easy to make, but eye-catching too!

I had so much fun creating this elegant winter card with a twist on tradition. I wanted to capture a frosty, luxurious feel—something a little different from classic Christmas colours.

 

 

 A truly special winter wonderland-inspired card with a unique hexagonal design that adds a modern twist to traditional festive shapes. I used shiny blue and crisp white poinsettias, paired with delicate silver Christmas foliage, to evoke an icy, elegant feel. Touches of diamanté sparkle bring it to life, catching the light beautifully and adding a frosty, magical finish. Perfect for someone who loves a little winter luxury!
